Jim Martin is Director, National Sales Manager at Strategas Asset Management. He partners with financial advisors nationwide and manages key relationships with various firms across the firm’s product suite.

Jim joined Strategas from Baird, where he served as a Financial Advisor on a top-25 team in Charlotte, North Carolina. His prior experience includes senior distribution roles at RiverFront Investment Group and Eagle Asset Management. Over his three-decade career, Jim has supported financial professionals in over 30 states, consistently building strong, lasting relationships through mentorship, collaboration, and a deep understanding of advisor needs.

With more than 30 years in the investment industry—and over 25 years working directly with financial advisors, Jim brings extensive expertise across ETFs, SMAs, mutual funds, and a broad range of investment solutions. He is known for his thoughtful, relationship-driven approach and his strong appreciation for the advisor–client dynamic.

Jim lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife, Susan, and has two adult daughters, Gerise and Emily. He earned his BBA in Accounting from Georgia State University and his MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside the office, Jim enjoys golf, reading, routing on the Buffalo Bills & Sabres, and—most of all—spending time with his family.
